House Cleaner

Overview:
I am looking for one cleaner with 2 years of experience cleaning houses full time (for their own clients) to join me in making a lot of money. I offer flat rate pay. I have an app that calculates how long a job will take by entering sq footage of home, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and what type of clean it is. It will assign each booking a number of hrs and pay. Cleaner will see the pay before accepting a job.. An example is a deep clean of 4 BR 4Bath 2700 sq ft house would pay 225. It estimates the clean will take 11 hrs. It takes 11 and multiplies it by 25/hr to offer a flat rate. If the cleaner is efficient and can quickly discern what products to use and when etc, they can easily move faster. For me, as someone who has done this for years, I could easily do this job in 7. If I were on the job and finished in 7 hrs, I would still get paid 225. This would put me at making 32/hr.

This is an independent contractor position. I don't train and I don't provide supplies. I give you an estimated time window for when to be at a job. You discern the timing that makes sense. Today my cleaner was assigned 2 jobs. First job starts between 8 and 10am. Second job would be based on the time booking koala assigns a job for and I add a 2 hr window. Today, my cleaner made 125 at first job which takes her 4 hrs tops and shell make 90 at her second job which will take 3 hrs tops.

Cleaner isn't obligated to take on any jobs. When you download the app, you will see when a new unassigned booking is created. The first person to grab it gets it. Once its assigned to you, it's important to me that you commit to that job no matter what. Cleaners will need to carry insurance and have all supplies. Insurance costs 45 month for me. I use erie.

I also offer commercial cleans. I pay flat rate on those also. The jobs that take about .5-1-1.5 hrs pay 25. The bigger jobs that are about 2-3 hrs pay 50. Many of them are weekly and biweekly. Cleaners tend to choose whats closest to their home for those. Cleaners tend to love these jobs because their isn't anyone there and there's a lot of flexibility on the timing of when they can be done.

I currently pay semi monthly, but am hoping to transition to weekly, with one week held back. We offer a satisfaction guarantee. Cleaner will not be paid unless client is fully satisfied. We have never had to come back but it's important the cleaner understands if she misses anything, she will have to go back out for free to correct any mistakes. Additionally, cleaner doesn't get paid if I don't get paid. In 15 mos, we haven't had this issue, but again, I would like to be clear that client has to pay me in order for cleaner to get paid. I like to charge by credit card, ensuring payment is secure. But if a client disputes a charge, that will have to be resolved before cleaner gets paid for that job. This hasn't happened yet. Personally, I tend to go above and beyond for clients to ensure they're happy. I fold toilet paper and add a "thank you for supporting my small business" sticker. They love that. This is just what I do. Everyone has a different strategy and that's ok.

I prefer you dont bring in bleach as its a huge liability. Toilet bowl cleaner can also get us in lots of trouble liability wise. It's important to me that you understand what products are approved for what surfaces.

Give me a call! We do a drug test and background check. Marijuana friendly. That doesn't mean I'm ok with showing up stoned. lol. If you do that, I just wont be able to put you on more jobs.
