SW Kids Program Coordinator

Definition

This position is directly supervised by the CEO/Executive Director and is a full-time, exempt position. The SW Kids Program Coordinator oversees and implements all aspects of the after school program and may also provide counseling services, in-school services, and outreach services. This job description will be reviewed during the annual job performance evaluation.

Job Requirements

1. Provides services in a nurturing and responsible manner.
2. Plans and facilitates creative, activity-based curriculum-based prevention education groups.
3. Provides safe transportation for SW Kids.
3. Develops daily snack menu and procures program supplies in accordance with established budget.
3. Promotes SW Kids behavioral expectations with consistency, respect, and love
4. Maintains documentation, prepares reports, and performs related services and paperwork per agency policy and contract requirements.
5. Supervises and evaluates SW Kids support staff.
6. Attends related training and/or meetings as required.
7. Develops positive relationships with peers and carries out duties in a team-like manner.
8. Provides community education and development services and/or presentations as assigned.
9. Assists in the development and revision of agency promotional publications and media, as assigned.
10. Models and adheres to standard of conduct consistent with agency and professional ethics.
11. Reads, is familiar with, and abides by SWYFS’ Policies and Procedures.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor Degree, two years of experience working with children or youth, and valid Oklahoma
Driver’s License are required.
