Summary: Activity Specialist responsible for helping participants grow artistically.

Responsibilities:

• Responsiblefordeveloping,teaching&maintainingscheduledActivities.
• Developandmaintainarts,theater,music,danceandpoetry.
• Organizeandcreateartexhibitions,danceroutines,theater presentations,musicrecitalsand poetryjams.
• Assistwiththerecruitmentandretentionofparticipants.
• Maintainsitebulletinboardsandproduceflyersforevents.
• Organizeandcreateprogramperformancescostumes.
• Accompanyparticipantstoart,theater,anddancerelatedtrips.
• Maintain daily attendance for allcourses.
• Co-facilitate ParentMeetings
• Ensurethecleanlinessandpresenceofallofthespaceusedbytheprogramparticipant
• ResponsibleforkeepingtheProgramDirectorinformedofanychangesand abnormalities that mayoccur.
• Submit weekly reports to the Program Director on a timelybasis.
• Attendallprogramstaffmeetings,trainings,andspecialevents
• Assist otherstaff when needed
• Other duties asassigned

Salary: $18 per hour.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Education:

• HighSchool DiplomaorGED;workingtowardsorpossessingAAorBAdegreeaplus.
• Must beatleast18yearsold.
• 1yearsexperienceinthefieldandhighlevelofknowledgeinCreativeArts
• Experience teaching or training individuals in groupsettings
• Experience with lesson plandevelopment
• SubmittobackgroundchecksincompliancewithDOE,DYCD,DOHandSACCregulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
