Kasraeian Urology is a division of Florida Physician Specialists, LLC. We are currently searching to add to our growing medical team a Lead Clinical MA to help oversee the clinical team. This position reports directly to the Medical Office Manager. 

Our private practice urology clinic specializes in urological malignancies, BPH, minimally invasive, robotic, and ablative urological surgery, with a focus on advanced and innovative techniques such as MRI fusion biopsy and focal therapy for prostate cancer. Committed to providing cutting-edge patient care at the highest level, we seek a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team.

The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for successfully managing the day to day needs of the clinic. First point of contact for administrative level needs. Assists Director of Operations/Practice administrator with carrying out strategic vision. Exercises own discretion in planning, leading and directing day-to-day clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for patient and clinical staff issues
• Responsible for reviewing clinical staff schedule and performance
• Assist in various office urology procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical tasks such as taking patient histories, vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.
• Assist with cystoscopy, MRI fusion biopsies, and other specialized office-based urologic procedures.
• Coordinate patient care, including scheduling, follow-up, and patient education.
• Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active medical assistant certification.
• Prior experience in urology and office-based procedures is preferred.
• Understanding of urological conditions and treatments.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and medical office software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
