Job Summary:

Red Pine Tree and Landscape is seeking a skilled Tree Climber and/or Groundsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree removal, trimming, and maintenance. Applicant must have a valid drivers license (CDL is a plus, but not required.)

Responsibilities (Some only apply to tree climber position):

• Safely climb trees using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals
• Operate lifts and rigging equipment
• Roping leads down safely
• Feeding debris into wood chipper
• Using mini loader to load logs into truck/trailer
• Clean up of debris from tree trimming/tree removal
• General equipment maintenance
• Operate stump grinder
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed
• Driving a truck and trailer (CDL is a plus, but not required)
• Must be able to use a chainsaw*

Experience (Some only apply to tree climber position):

• Proven experience as a Tree Climber or similar role
• Proficiency in lift operation for tree work
• Knowledge of tree pruning techniques
• Ability to operate rigging equipment for tree trimming
• Must be able to use a chainsaw
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer
• Must be willing to wear proper PPE
• Must be able to work as a team to ensure safety
