QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Willingness to learn about and ensure student safety
3. Able to lift 50 lbs
4. Punctual and reliable
5. Completed required trainings before interacting with students

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervises students and work with a wide range of various needs, including physical, behavior and social Examples: Ensures students follow bus safety guidelines before, during and after transport

Guides each student toward making appropriate choices and accepting responsibility for their own behavior

• Alerts the bus driver and transportation director to any problem or special information regarding an individual student

A successful candidate will:

• Be student-focused, team-oriented and have a strong desire to actively engage with students
• Holds a humble philosophy that doing whatever it takes to help students be successful is required
• Have effective time management skills and organizational skills
• Enjoys kids, working with others and making a positive difference in the lives of children
• Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information regarding students as is expected of fully licensed teachers
