South Metro Federal Credit Union, a fast growing, successful credit union in the south metro area is seeking an experienced Member Service Representative II to join our team.

As a valued colleague of SMFCU, you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional Member experience during every interaction. This unique position requires an individual who has a strong commitment to consultative Member service, in an environment where growth is occurring in all business lines.

A partial list of responsibilities includes:

• Acting as a point of first impression for SMFCU, this individual must possess and deliver a commitment to Member service, satisfaction and loyalty.
• Engaging and building strong relationships with new and existing Members to effectively identify and make recommendations to solve their financial needs: including, but not limited to, new products, services and technology-based solutions.
• Accurately processing transactions related to teller services.
• Open consumer and business accounts.
• Provide outstanding member service to consumer and business members by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions.
• Making referrals to other departments within the Credit Union as appropriate, such as consumer lending, mortgage lending and business lending.
• Operating in full compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations and laws.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, financial services, or a related field
• Proficiency in financial software applications
• Strong cash handling skills
• Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing

• Monday to Friday 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM with rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM.
