La Jolla Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry is Hiring a Part-time Associate Dentist Near La Jolla, CA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide quality dental care to our patients and contribute to the overall success of our practice. This is a three day per week role that offers an opportunity for professional growth and exposure to an experienced dental team that can help eleveate your skillset.

Responsibilities:

- Sign on with insurance carriers as a treating provider (PPO Only)

- Perform dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients

- Conduct dental procedures for preventive, basic, and major services

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental)

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education

Qualifications:

- Active for the State of California DDS license, or DMD

- Current CPR and BLS certification

- Proficient in medical imaging, medical coding, and medical records management

- Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients is preferred

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is a plus

- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients

- Ability to work well within a team environment
