Pay: $17/hr.

Job Summary:

Pacific Channel Transportation is in search of a Part-time Dock Worker to work a Day Shift. The dock associate is responsible for physically unloading and loading trucks utilizing a pallet jack and forklifts while maintaining a high level of organization during a specified shift to ensure freight is properly loaded and unloaded to facilitate on-time, error-free deliveries.

Duties and responsibilities:

Ability to work a PART TIME Day shift, Monday through Friday 8:00pm-3:00am.
Proven record of reliability.
Knowledge of warehouse layout to access products and warehouse contents in efficient and timely manner.
Loads and unload freight using suitable material – handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain accuracy when sorting out packages based on customer and delivery routes.
Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, candidates, team members, customers, vendors, and proprietary company information. Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Proven successful experience as a dock/warehouse team member.
Qualified candidates are self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment all with a positive attitude.
