Job Summary:

The RN, Post-op will be responsible for providing care to patients who have undergone surgical procedures. The RN will be responsible for administering medications, educating patients on post-operative care, and conducting ongoing health assessments to ensure patients are recovering properly. The RN will work closely with the surgical team to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
• Educate patients on post-operative care, including wound care, pain management, and medication management
• Conduct ongoing health assessments to monitor patients' recovery progress
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patients receive the best possible care
• Document patient care and progress in medical records
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide updates on care and answer any questions they may have

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in post-operative care
• Strong medication administration skills
• Excellent patient education skills
• Ability to conduct ongoing health assessments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
