Bistro Provenance is looking to hire a full-time Restaurant General Manager (GM) to oversee operations at our restaurant.
This restaurant management position earns a competitive salary and health benefits.

WORK SCHEDULE
The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday Brunch. Closed on Mondays. This full-time salaried position typically works 50-55 hours a week, depending on the needs of the restaurant.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER (GM)
In this restaurant management role, you are essential to our success. Your job is to ensure that all our guests and team members are taken care of. You hire qualified culinary and service staff and engage in training to help our team develop expertise in the food service industry. As a leader in the restaurant, you monitor the staff and keep things running well. Being service-driven, you aim to serve the best French dishes around and offer the best service to our guests. You leade by example, on the floor and with the guests.
We offer a beautiful event space on the second floor of our restaurant so, finding and booking parties is an integral part of your job.
Whenever issues arise, you utilize your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to quickly resolve them. You also ensure that all policies and standards are being met. You find great satisfaction in providing our guests and team members with a positive, memorable experience!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER (GM)
  • Fine dining serving experience
  • Knowledge of bartending, and ability to train new bartenders, and curate the alcohol offerings.
  • 2 years of management experience (preferably in full-service restaurants)
  • Ability to attract, lead, and train team members effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L accountability experience
