The District intends to hire a Control Systems Administrator to manage and maintain various electronic and electrical systems within its Operations Control Center at Michigan City, Indiana, and associated field locations. Description: Control Systems Administrator duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Schedule: The anticipated normal hours of service are during the daytime on Monday through Friday. The specific work schedule will depend on the needs of the service and managerial availability. The successful applicant will be expected to be available for calls during the night, evening, and weekend from other managers, supervisors, and control center personnel. More information on the specifics regarding availability can be obtained from the Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations.Supervision: The position reports to the Manager of Fixed Electrical Facilities.Salary and Benefits: Salary range is based on experience after consideration of skills and work history. Credit for time served in other railroad or employment, including military leaves, will be applied in determining vacation day entitlements. Benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, health club stipend, comp time, medical benefits, dental benefits, health savings account, and supplemental pensions.
