The King's University is Hiring a Coordinator of Biblical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy Near Southlake, TX

POSITION SUMMARYMulti-tasking position involving full knowledge of all administrative and clerical procedures of the University in compliance with accreditation bodies. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Biblical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy programs including but not limited to task coordination, document planning and preparation, maintenance of calendars, and scheduling of appointments. Position Specific Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional, relational customer service; promptly answer telephones and respond to e-mails, investigate student inquiries and direct students to appropriate University services.
  • Manage administrative tasks for the Director, including but not limited to calendar, student academic advising appointments, expense reports, purchase requisitions, and travel arrangements.
  • Schedule and assist with the arrangement of committee meetings chaired by the Director; provide agendas and staffing assistance to meetings.
  • Provide effective and efficient clerical and office management for all day-to-day operations of the department; create and maintain efficient systems for management of administrative databases, office files and records.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty including printing of documents, assignments and exams and classroom IT/TA support.
  • Coordinate with the Office of Admissions; communicate with prospective students during the recruitment and admissions process.
  • Provide administrative and relational support with new students during their on-boarding experience.
  • Provide ongoing communication with counseling Practicum placement sites; build relationships to ensure smooth, effective Practicum experiences for both the sites and counseling students.
  • Coordinate, expand, and communicate with various counseling practicum sites across the DFW area to ensure students are meeting requirements for their practicum experience.
  • Manage activities related to instruction, including classroom assignments, module facilitation, licensing support, and tracking grade submissions.
  • Participate in campus events when requested.
  • Provide administrative support for Timely Care system.

  • Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation
  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor of Arts preferred.

  • Demonstrated computer skills using MS Office Suite software, internet, CAMS, EMS.

  • Willingness and ability to respond to changing circumstances and expectations.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an administrative assistant
