Summary of Work
This position will support and manage agency data collection operations in support of the agency water resource management functions. This includes manually collecting data as well as operating the DWR's custom built electronic PRESENS data loggers. PRESENS is an acronym for Pushing REmote SENSors. The PRESENS loggers are constantly collecting valuable water resource data needed for sound scientific decision-making on water development, planning, and appropriation. This position will report to the Field Technician Manager and support the current team of field technicians by learning and performing each position's duties.
