Job DescriptionLUTHIER/REPAIR SHOP MANAGERDay Violins, a full-service string shop, is seeking an experienced Luthier to work in a managerial capacity in our repair department. Essential Functions
  • Set-up, repair and restoration of client instruments
  • Set-up, repair and restoration of shop inventory
  • Oversee work done by luthier staff
  • Direct repairs done by rental luthier staff
  • Educate and collaborate with staff on skill improvement
  • Customer interaction on an as-needed basis
  • Work with management on projects and responsibilities

  • One week bench test for selected applicants
  • Must be willing to relocate to Northern Virginia area

Day Violins has been in operation since 2007 and is an active and involved supporter of music education and the arts.
