Family and Community Resources, Inc. is Hiring a Full Time Case Manager, Transitional Housing Near Brockton, MA

FULL-TIME CASE MANAGER, TRANSITONAL HOUSING

The mission of FCR is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all survivors of trauma, including those impacted by domestic and sexual violence, substance abuse, bereavement, and other causes. With the understanding that the aim of equality and justice is ongoing, we are committed to modeling diversity, inclusivity, and equity within our organization to reflect the communities in which we serve.

FCR is a community based non-profit agency and is seeking a passionate, creative, motivated, flexible person to provide case management within our Transitional Housing Program. The Transitional Housing Program provides support to survivors fleeing domestic violence or those at imminent risk of homelessness due to domestic violence.

Responsibilities

  • Case management
  • Advocacy
  • Coordinate supportive housing service for survivors referred to the program
  • Facilitate housing focused groups for program participants
  • Data and file entry
  • Community outreach

Requirements

  • Must have cultural awareness, experience in working with diverse populations and a passion to bring about social justice and change
  • Bachelor’s Level or commiserate experience in a human service related field
  • Experience working in a housing and/or domestic violence program setting
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Valid MA driver’s license and access to personal vehicle required
  • Those with multi-language capacity are highly encouraged to apply

Hours

This is an office-based position for 35 hours, including weekdays and one early evening per week.

Salary Range:$24-$27 per hour depending on experience and language capacity

$500 sign-on bonus to be paid after six months of employment with a positive review.
