Swim Instructor - Part-Time

British Swim School is looking for candidates in the Bergen County area who have a passion for working with children and a love of the water. As part of the BSS team, you are instrumental in working toward our mission, "To ensure that every person, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to be a safe and happy swimmer". The majority of our students are preschool and elementary-aged children. Our instructors need to enjoy working with children and putting parents at ease. The position includes all the training needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Enthusiastic, fun, and upbeat personality
Effectively communicate with customers
Able to demonstrate swim strokes appropriately

Roles and Responsibilities:

Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and standards
Conduct classes in a fun and gentle environment
Work a flexible schedule

Compensation:

Pay starts at $17/hr

Pay Increase after completion of all training

Bonus after completing British Swim School training

20 Hours available

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
