Job Summary - We are looking for a piano player, organ player, or both!

The Church Keyboardist (organ and piano) is committed and provides organ and piano music for scheduled worship services and other activities in support of the music ministry. Having a pivotal role in the musical life of the church, this individual is a strong team player, being a full partner with the ministerial staff and the Church. The annual salary is based on candidate’s education, experience, and skill level.

Job Responsibilities

· Expectation of attendance is for fifty Sunday morning worship services, rehearsals with the Praise Band on Tuesday nights, Sanctuary Choir on Wednesday nights and other special services. Must be present for Christmas and Easter seasons. The work is done cooperatively with the Director of Music and Media.

· Support the church’s worship environment through the well-prepared execution of music presented by the choir and other musicians.

· Facilitate congregational singing and worship through the execution of hymns and other songs.

· Plan, select, and prepare preludes, postludes, and offertories.

· Play for funerals of church members, as requested and upon availability,

· Permitted to receive additional compensation from the parties involved with weddings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

• Manchester, TN 37355: Relocate before starting work (Required)
