Columbus International Corporation is Hiring a Hotel General Manager (GM) Near Wilmington, NC
Job Description
The General Manager (GM) oversees all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring superior guest experiences and profitable operations. The GM acts as an ambassador for the Holiday Inn brand and works closely with owners and stakeholders. Previous experience with Holiday Inn or other IHG properties is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Supervise all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, Sales and Marketing).
- Guest Experience: Ensure guest satisfaction, handle complaints, and oversee service recovery.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets, manage profitability, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement revenue-generating strategies.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Community Relations: Build relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers.
- Brand Management: Maintain Holiday Inn brand standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Proven experience as a General Manager in Holiday Inn/IHG properties.
- Strong leadership, financial acumen, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- Multilingual capabilities.
