D'CARAMEL PATISSERIE is Hiring a Baker / Croissants Near Southlake, TX

We are an modern artisan French bakery in the center of Southlake, TX specializing in artisan croissants and contemporary pastries. We offer a wide selection of Viennoiserie products, such as croissants, danishes, kouign amanns, and brioches in the mornings, and french desserts throughout the day in our flagman store in the heart of Southlake.

We take pride in crafting our Viennoiserie products from scratch in-house, rolled by hand. Our process includes a long fermentation process to achieve the perfect balance of crunchiness and rich buttery flavor. As we create our line of desserts, we strive to infuse a modern twist into classic French favorites, offering a fresh and innovative take on these time-honored treats.

We are currently hiring full time Baker for Croissant / Viennoiserie products. The position calls for experienced in bakery individuals and hardworkers with ability to work independently.

We are looking for:
2 years of experience as a baker
Enthusiasm, energy, and positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
Making bake products with attention to detail
Self-organized person, ability to lead bakery department and work independently

Responsibilities:
Follow all the recipes and guidelines based on Company’s standards
Make & bake croissant dough and variety of Viennoserie products with attention to details
Make fillings such as ganache, jams, creams, caramel and decorations such as chocolate, icing in a safe an appropriate manner
Control all stages of production to maintain quality of all baked goods
Maintain pastry kitchen equipment, and all areas of kitchen clean and sanitized based on public safety guidelines. Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices.
Maintain inventory level and replenish on time
Work on different type of equipment
This position requires lifting 50 lb occasionally, working with machinery and sharp objects. Work with hot, cold products
Performs other related duties as assigned by chef and bakery lead.

Hourly rate based on interview and skills tips (pool) paid time offs long term bonus employee discount

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 6AM - 2PM

This is not a seasonal job

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
