Job Description
Job Title: Head Operator (Extrusion)
Job Summary: The Head Operator (Extrusion) is responsible for the overall operation of the extrusion department. This includes ensuring that production meets the production program and quality standards, maintaining a safe working environment, and supervising employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure production meets the production program and quality standards.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Supervise employees.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Order and maintain inventory.
Complete paperwork and reports.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with extrusion machines.
Strong understanding of quality control procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typically noisy and may be hot or cold
