**Job Description:**

Atticus Safety Consulting, LLC is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Superintendent and Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) for our projects in Portsmouth, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a strong background in both construction supervision and safety management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Serve as the Superintendent and SSHO in the Portsmouth area.

- Manage and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with EM385 standards.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee quality control.

- Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, ensuring all safety and construction standards are met.

- Prepare and submit required safety documentation and reports.

**Qualifications:**

- **OSHA 30 Certification** is required.

- Minimum of **5 years of construction safety experience**.

- Minimum of **7 years of experience** in a Superintendent, Quality Control, or Project Manager role.

- At least **5 years of experience** with exterior repair projects.

- Strong knowledge of EM385 safety standards.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Proven leadership skills with a focus on safety and quality.

**Additional Information:**

- The role requires meeting both superintendent and SSHO qualifications as outlined.

- Potential for immediate start due to a previous hire falling through.

- The candidate must be prepared to take on responsibilities for both projects sequentially.
