About Us
Optometry Care is looking to add a part time passionate optometrist to our close knit family! This may lead to a full time position. We are an independent optometry office located inside Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. We are located on a military base where you will be providing eye exams to military families and retirees. This is a civilian provider position; military status not required. When hired, base access will be provided.

You’ll use your skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset. Our office is medically oriented and outfitted with OCT/Fundus Camera/VF.

Your regular duties will include:

• Performing comprehensive eye exams
• Performing contact lens fittings
• Diagnosing and treat ocular disease
• Providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
• Promoting healthy vision by counseling and educating patients

Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Valid state license to practice optometry in Nevada
• Glaucoma certified
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• New grads encouraged to apply

• 500 per diem
