The Primary Lead Teacher is responsible for 16 months to 3 year olds
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and educational activities
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and organized learning environment
- Proficiency in literacy education to promote early reading and writing skills
- Experience working with young students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to incorporate physical education activities into the daily routine
- Passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential
- Understanding of child welfare and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and licensing requirements
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and milestones
- Experience or knowledge in special education is a plus
