Job Summary: As a Merchandiser/Fronter at Good Foods Grocery, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store for our shoppers. This position requires a self-starter with an eye for detail, particularly in ensuring that products are neatly arranged on shelves and that sell-by dates are regularly checked. You will be responsible for managing your time efficiently to create an inviting shopping environment. Excellent customer service, theft prevention vigilance, cafe area cleanliness, stocking assistance, and being a team player are important aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Display:
   • Pull products forward on store shelves to enhance visibility and presentation.
   • Regularly check and update sell-by dates to ensure freshness.
2. Time Management:
   • Demonstrate good time management skills to maintain neat store shelves.
   • Prioritize tasks effectively to create an organized shopping space for customers.
3. Refrigerated and Frozen Sections:
   • Manage and arrange products in refrigerated and frozen sections, maintaining proper storage conditions.
   • Monitor temperature controls to uphold product quality.
4. Customer Service:
   • Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and answering inquiries.
   • Offer guidance on product selection and location within the store.
5. Theft Prevention:
   • Stay vigilant and aware of theft, reporting any suspicious activity to store management.
   • Collaborate with the team to implement loss prevention measures.
6. Cafe Area Assistance:
   • Assist in keeping the cafe area clean and well-maintained.
   • Support with restocking cafe items as needed.
7. Stocking Support:
   • Collaborate with the stocking team to replenish products efficiently.
   • Ensure stock levels are adequate for smooth store operations.
8. Team Collaboration:
   • Assist fellow team members as needed to maintain a positive and cooperative work environment.
