Job Description

As a Business Analyst you'll play a key role in optimizing operations across systems management, business analytics, client onboarding/off-boarding, and IT support. You'll oversee critical business systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency. Collaborating with leadership, you'll drive strategic reporting and analytics initiatives, ensuring data integrity and facilitating client onboarding/off-boarding processes. Your role extends to serving as the internal IT point of contact, ensuring smooth operations and proactive support. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Systems

  • Manage and monitor assigned company systems, including but not limited to Karbon, Cognito, Ignition, and Defender;
  • Evaluate future systems, and fit with existing infrastructure
  • Identify opportunities for further integration and more efficient use of existing systems
  • Manage user access to internal systems (Outlook, Karbon, Adobe, QBO, Axcess, SurePrep, etc…)

Business Analytics

  • Work with firm leadership to develop firm reporting and analytics, including selection and implementation of tools required to achieve objectives
  • Participate in process to identify best way to source data for analysis
  • Insure data integrity between systems
  • Management of monthly internal reporting process (once established)

Client Onboarding / Off-boarding

  • Initiate client onboarding process upon proposal acceptance
  • Assign Client IDs to clients as they are onboarded; ensure Client IDs are input into key systems and ensure information is accurate and consistent across all assigned systems. (Karbon, Ignition, QBO, Axcess and others)
  • Create and manage Sharepoint folders for clients.

IT Support

  • Internal point of contact for IT related matters; escalate to IT partner as needed
  • Manage IT equipment inventory and storage, including laptops, monitors, cables, etc.
  • Provide IT support for onboarding and off-boarding employees e.g. order new equipment, wipe and restore equipment, etc.
  • Monitor email Defender and quarantine folder for false quarantined messages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Basic accounting knowledge is a plus
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new software applications, such as business analytics, workflow software and CRMs
  • Possess a strong process orientation
  • Experience with database and data management preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role working for a professional services firm is preferred but not required
  • Dependable with a professional demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent proofreading, grammar, and punctuation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
