As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Warehouse/Operations Manager to join our team and lead our warehouse operations to new heights.
Position Overview:
As the Warehouse/Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations. This includes managing inventory, coordinating shipments, optimizing workflows, and leading a team of warehouse staff. We are looking for an individual who is not only highly organized and detail-oriented but also has experience with Finale Inventory Control System, Shipstation, with a solid understanding of shipping and logistics processes; someone who will roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Extended hours and weekend availability as needed during Holiday season (November & December).
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Finale Inventory Control System and Shipstation to manage inventory levels, process orders, track shipments, and streamline fulfillment processing.
- Oversee the packaging and shipping of fragile gift items, ensuring proper handling and delivery.
- Utilize best practice warehouse procedures and workflows, with a focus on maximizing productivity and minimizing errors.
- Lead, mentor and provide ongoing training to warehouse staff to ensure high standards of performance and productivity.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize shipping, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipping/receiving activities, and warehouse expenses.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, operations management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in utilizing Finale Inventory Control System and Shipstation, or other comparable platforms.
- Experience shipping fragile items is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of shipping and logistics processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
