We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Office team member. As the first point of contact for our office, the Front Office plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Coordinate patient flow and manage the scheduling system to optimize efficiency
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Oversee front desk operations
- Collaborate with medical providers and staff to address patient needs effectively
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is required
- Proficiency in using phone systems and scheduling software
- Strong knowledge of dental office procedures and administrative tasks
- Familiarity with dental scheduling processes and insurance verification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
