- Provide direct training services to clients
- Interview prospective youths and determine appropriate placement.
- Supervised youth in placement and coordination of community resources.
- Meet weekly with youth
- Orientation of youth
- Development of treatment goals
- Coordinate educational, medical, recreational, and mental health services within the community as deemed appropriate.
- Write monthly progress reports based on the treatment goals to the referring agency.
- Complete special incident reports to Executive Director.
- Provide support and guidance to residents through weekly contact
- Complete fifty (50) hours of training per year related to professional development.
- Carry a caseload of 4-12 Residents.
- Service as a Crisis intervention person for your caseload and “on Call” as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree
- Minimum Experience: 2 Years Combined education/experience as a substitute for the minimum experience
- Minimum Field of Expertise: Social work
- Preferred Experience: 2 or 3 Years
- Preferred Field of Expertise: social work in a Business or industrial environment.
- Problem-Solving - Identifies and resolves problems time efficiently; Gathers and analyzes information; Develops solutions; Uses reason.
- Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively; Listens and gets clarification when necessary; Responds informatively to questions.
- Project Management - Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Manages project team activities.
- Written Communication - Writes clearly and concisely; Edits work; Varies writing style to meet specific needs; Presents data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
- Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives.
- Leadership - Inspires and motivates others to perform well; Effectively influences actions and opinions of others; Accepts feedback from others.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, and the general public.
