Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Coordinator to join our production team. The Spray Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the spray application process on our production line to ensure the efficient and accurate coating of products according to quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Line Oversight:
  • Manage and coordinate the spray application process on the production line.
  • Ensure that all equipment, including spray guns, pumps, and nozzles, are properly set up and maintained for optimal performance.
  • Monitor production flow to maintain consistent spray application rates and coverage.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the spraying process and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections of sprayed products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify any defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies in the spray application and take appropriate measures to address them.
  • Collaborate with quality control personnel to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain inventory levels of spray materials, including paints, coatings, and solvents, to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to replenish spray materials as needed and optimize inventory levels.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to spray application processes, materials handling, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Leadership and Training:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to spray operators and production line personnel.
  • Train new employees on proper spray application techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork among production staff.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in spray coating operations, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of spray equipment and techniques, including spray guns, pumps, and nozzle configurations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common issues related to spray application equipment and processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to spray coating operations.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods during production shifts.
