Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with banquet or event setup and service as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating drink prices and making change
- Familiarity with different brewing techniques and beverage recipes
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
