Registered Nurse Manager with $7,500 Sign on Bonus

No nights, no weekends

Chesapeake Eye Surgery Center is currently recruiting for an outstanding Registered Nurse Manager for our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Annapolis, MD.

At Vision Innovation Partners, we exist to protect and restore vision! In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting our surgeons and our patients. You'll join a team of passionate, highly skilled Ophthalmologists, Registered Nurses and Surgical Technicians, working in a state of the art and recently expanded surgery center. 

We offer competitive pay, continuing education credits, and a community of RN and eyecare professionals across multiple surgery centers in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and actively involved in all aspects of a three-room OR
  • Lead a team of registered nurses, scrub technicians and surgery coordinators.
  • Handle multiple demands from team, surgeons, and patients in fast-paced environment.
  • Deliver compassionate patient care and ensure the patient is at the heart of all we do.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the surgery center, no job too big or too small.
  • Manage schedules for surgeons and team members.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly operational review meetings with peers and leadership.

Qualifications

  • OR experience a must!
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Demonstrates clinical expertise in pre and post-op ambulatory surgical nursing.
  • Equivalent of two (2) years clinical expertise in OR, Critical Care, or ambulatory care nursing.
  • One (1) year of supervisory level experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
