Educate clients on different insurance options and help them choose the right coverage
- Process insurance applications, policy changes, and claims
- Provide accurate and timely quotes for insurance policies
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions for policies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Resolve client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Insurance Agent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Proficient in using insurance software systems for policy management
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding, HIPAA regulations, and medical office procedures is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy in processing insurance applications and claims
- Valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one
