Job Summary:
Our banking client is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for processing loan applications, verifying financial information, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of all loan disbursements, payments, fee collections, and internal transfers.
• Maintenance and updating of insurance files for all loans.
• Administration of UCC collateral.
• Recording and reviewing loan documentation and processing
• Tracking lien perfection on titles and mortgages.
• Handling customer calls and inquiries.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and bank policies.
• Maintenance of all aspects of the escrow process.
• Cross-training in other loan functions and training of department members.
• Producing and reviewing reports for quality control and transparency with management.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in basic math and 10-key typing
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and mortgage lending practices
• Experience in loan processing, underwriting, or escrow services
• Familiarity with credit analysis and loan officer duties
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in contract review and mortgage underwriting

The job functions are performed in an office environment with various types of office equipment. The incumbent must be capable of digital dexterity, light to moderate lifting, and effective communication. Extended hours may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
