Position Introduction:

10Beauty is seeking a Quality Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of change control processes, creating tests to validate our products, as well as a proven track record of implementing and maintaining robust quality processes.

What you’ll do:

• Drive continuous improvement in change control processes to ensure that changes to products, processes, and/or systems are documented, reviewed, and approved in accordance with established procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of proposed changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Create, validate, and implement new testing procedures for our products
• Manage the Design Verification Plan (DVP) with overseas suppliers to ensure testing is being carried out in accordance with established procedures and requirements
• Oversee performance testing to regularly evaluate our products against internal Salon Quality Manicure standards
• Drive continuous improvement in inspections and work instructions, ensuring that the product is being built to the highest standards
• Travel to supplier locations to support builds or testing needs 
• Collaborate with teams to investigate and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and verify effectiveness of actions
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce nonconformities

What you have:

• 3-5 years of experience of related Quality Engineering experience with consumer products, throughout the product life cycle from concept to EOL
• Proven experience in effectively performing testing processes, change control initiatives, and CAPA programs
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies and their integration into quality processes
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality systems and processes
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (< 30%)
• Proven track record of successful supplier collaboration
