**Overview:** We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales management, excellent time management skills, and experience in retail operations. **Responsibilities:** - Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the store - Oversee cash register operations and ensure accuracy in transactions - Manage point-of-sale (POS) system and troubleshoot any issues - Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment - Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors - Assist in buying decisions and maintaining optimal inventory levels - Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and make data-driven decisions - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store setting - Strong understanding of store management practices - Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays - Knowledge of retail math principles for inventory management This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic retail environment.
