We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Recruiter to help us attract and hire qualified drive away drivers.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our HR team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified drive away drivers. This role requires a proactive approach to recruitment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with potential candidates.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Talent Acquisition:** Proactively source and identify qualified drive away drivers through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
- **Screening and Interviewing:** Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the role.
- **Candidate Management:** Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates and manage relationships with potential hires throughout the recruitment process.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the safety team to understand compliance needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment of drivers.
- **Compliance:** Ensure all hiring practices comply with company policies and relevant employment laws and regulations.
- **Onboarding:** Facilitate the onboarding process for new drivers, including coordinating training and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- **Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular reports of onboarding progress and challenges to the recruiting Manager.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:**
Minimum of 1 years of recruitment/sales experience, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- **Education:**
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- **Skills:**
- Strong sourcing and networking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to speak fluent Spanish is a plus
