Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring assistance with daily living activities.

Duties:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Help with household chores such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the appropriate medical personnel

Skills:

- Experience or knowledge in geriatrics, medical-surgical care, PICU, hospital medicine
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Empathetic and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need of care
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers
