Empowering Solutions is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Near Crownsville, MD
Direct Support Professional needed to assist a 23 year old female.
This job will be conducted within the participant's home, with the potential to evolve into community outings as the family becomes comfortable. The participant enjoys playing on their tablet, horseback riding, and playing on the computer. We are looking for 15-20 hours a week, with the potential for respite opportunities, as well as expanding shifts.
The ideal candidate:
-Will be CPR and First Aid certified
-Will have at least 1 year experience working with developmental disabilities
-Have a driver's license, own car, and insurance.
-Will be comfortable with non-verbal participants; ideally with experience using communication apps/ASL
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
