Brighton Auto Body is Hiring an Auto Body Parts Manager Near Brighton, CO

An auto body parts manager is responsible for assisting technicians and estimators in parts ordering, tracking , inspection and shelving parts for the repairs of damaged vehicles and our mechanical shop. The person for this position must have excellent communication skills with all of our parts vendors, estimators and the members of our team to help ensure the our parts department runs efficiently . As a parts manager you must know the CCC estimating system for ordering and posting parts invoices , doing returns and updating the estimators daily . This position requires problem solving and being thorough with invoices, parts percentages and inspecting sheet metal as it arrives. We use all OEM parts and have great vendors in place to help facilitate the repair process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Parts purchases/orders
  • Inspecting parts to ensure accuracy and if damage is present
  • Receiving invoices/credit memos, scanning into CCC as parts arrive .
  • Use of OPS Trax for price matching to OEM
  • Ensuring parts are tagged / stored correctly so they get to the appropriate technician
  • Manage all parts returns, incorrect parts and damaged parts to ensure the credits are processed by the vendors.
  • Pick up hot shot parts as needed if necessary

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 plus years of auto body parts handling or equivalent.
  • CCC and Ops Trax experience required
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Experience using a computer for parts entry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Organizational skills

Our facility has a very large parts room and is equipped with its own office space and computer network. We have a very large repair facility for ease of movement through out the entire the entire shop.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
