Luce Avenue Coffee Roasters (Katy HEB location) is looking for Cashiers and experienced BARISTAS to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea.

Barista/cashier responsibilities include:

• effectively communicating menu items to customers
• upholding the Luce standard of excellent customer service
• making recommendations based on customer preferences
• up-selling limited special items
• maintaining a clean work environment in the front/back of the house
• maintaining efficient bar flow through clear communication

Preferred skills

• foundational knowledge on specialty coffee
• barista foundational skills (milk steaming, calibration, pour over...)

Prospective hires are expected to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Luce is a high volume specialty coffee shop, and it is pertinent to be able to work quickly and efficiently, but still serving excellent coffee, and still providing a quality customer service experience.
