The Residential Director is accountable for administrative oversight and staff management of residential programs and services. The Residential Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations including monitoring and maintaining processes for all contractual agreements, policy regulations, and policies and procedures consistent with mission and core values of ERI. The Residential Director reports to the Executive Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the Program Coordinators.

  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations of Program Coordinators.

  • Responsible for hiring and providing supervision to Program Coordinators, ensuring that their residential systems are operating effectively and according to DDS policy by setting goals for the programs, maintaining program outcomes which positively affect change.

  • Responsible for the oversight of all activities pertaining to (in accordance with DDS policy) contracts, quality assurance, supervision, program development, budget development and adherence, as well as development and implementation of ERI's policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily operation of ERI's residential programs.

  • Collaborates with outside entities including DDS, medical providers, families/guardians, etc.

  • Oversees and monitors individual specific interventions/plans, completing all program and participant-required documentation.

  • Assists with any training needs the Program Coordinators and the staff in the homes may need.

  • Serves as the liaison, including but not limited to, families, state personnel and community partners of ERI.

  • Responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of residential services that include teaching daily living skills, meeting personal needs and participation in the community.

  • Reviews on an ongoing basis, services being offered and develop new programs as needs emerge.

  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Residential Director will work with Executive Leadership to address all program issues, plan and implement all phases of program expansion and review/highlight organizational accomplishments throughout the agency.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must possess strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong written, analytical and data collection skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively across complex milieus.
  • Familiarity with executive level concepts and program implementation.
  • Demonstrated skill in designing and or implementing all stages of Individual Plans, Protective Intervention Plans, Payroll Budgets, and Individual Budgets for individuals receiving services.
  • Working knowledge of DDS regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Social Security Representative Payee budgets and regulations.
  • Must be able to advocate for the needs of individuals served.
  • Must be CPR & First Aid and MAT Certified or the ability to become certified upon hire
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a supervisory role in community residential programs with adults or children receiving the DDS Waivered services.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
