MTNA Rainsville Plant is searching for a 3rd shift Team Leader to oversee the Injection department. The ideal candidate will contribute to the success of the department by managing budget goals in scrap and labor, associates, safety, quality, and production.
This position will train 1 week on 1st shift after training is complete the hours are 10:00pm - 6:30am.
Responsibilities:
Supervision

• Conduct shifts pre-meetings as needed.
• Meet associate needs (Safety, Training, Direction, Concerns)
• Administer MTNA policy and procedures.
• Evaluate performance.
• Track Attendance
• Ensure shift is covered by appropriate, trained personnel.
• Communicate concerns to manager.

Quality

• Monitor all production processes.
• Develop & confirm production countermeasures.
• Ensure accountability is maintained for quality & delivery.
• Complete all appropriate forms.

Production

• Review schedule & schedule manpower efficiently
• Meet daily requirements & monitor daily activity.
• Communicate support needs to other shifts/depts.
• Feedback changes to Scheduling
• Maintain production training report.

Continuous Improvement

• Review & investigate rejects on a daily basis.
• Support department action plan
• Support Associate involvement programs
• Review and maintain layout & processes.

Equipment Maintenance & Supplies

• Investigate maintenance problems & notify support.
• Order Supplies & Monitor inventory of supplies
• Investigate new suppliers & vendors.

Requirements:

• Past supervision experience with appropriate leadership skills in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and cooperation with others
• Strong self-initiative and motivation
• Basic computer skills
• Must be available to support Production needs (i.e., nights, weekends, different shifts)
• Prompt regular attendance
