Job Title: Sleep Manager

Job Overview: The Sleep Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of a sleep center, which may include conducting sleep studies, diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of a sleep center, including conducting sleep studies, diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, and managing staff
• Interpret and analyze sleep study results and make appropriate treatment recommendations
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely care
• Monitor and manage billing and collections to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in sleep medicine and incorporate new techniques and treatments as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• preferred Sleep Lab Management experience
• preferred At least 5 years of experience in sleep medicine
• preferred Certification in sleep medicine by a recognized board
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with electronic health record systems and other medical software programs
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and other healthcare laws and regulations
• Able to complete Scoring
