Wayne Valley Dental Care is Hiring a Part/Full-time Associate Dentist Near Wayne, NJ

Great opportunity for General Dentist seeking an associate position in modern and growing private practice in Wayne New Jersey. Must be clinically proficient in comprehensive treatment planing, all phases of restorative dentistry including composite fillings, crown and bridge, removable partials and full dentures, and root canal therapy including molars. 3-4 days per week including two Saturdays per month. Days of week to be determined. Weekday hours are 8am-6pm (lunch 2-3), Saturday hours are 8am-2pm. Compensation based on collection. Initial compensation daily rate.

Duties include :

- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals (including molar), crown & bridge
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient paperless records using dental software
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in all procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care when necessary

Skills:

- Proficient in performing vital signs assessment and patient assessment
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
- Experience working with dental software systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and the ability to interpret diagnostic images (x-rays)
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Pay: $125,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
