Position Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join us as an Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building and growing a book of business in the insurance sector while benefiting from a supportive agency environment.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the target market. Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand the book of business.
Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
Effectively communicate policy details and coverage options to clients.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets through a combination of new client acquisition and successful renewal processes.
Leverage your network and our agency resources to maximize revenue opportunities.
Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding, policy issuance, and claims processes.
Partner with the agency to leverage direct carrier access and utilize available infrastructure and support.
Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes.
Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in insurance sales or a related field.
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing a business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Valid insurance license for Michigan. OH, IL, GA, NC, IN, also available.
Compensation: This position is salary-based, with a competitive commission split on new business. There is also opportunity for growth, renewal commisions and book ownership. High-performing individuals have the potential to achieve significant financial success.
