BEI Tactical is a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business providing services and high-end products to the government and commercial industry. BEI Tactical requires the below positions for a future anticipated award. When awarded, we will support the Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) in Yorktown, VA.

Position Summary: 

The Navy Expeditionary Logistics Instructor provides instructional support to the Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG), an Echelon IV command in the United States Navy reporting to the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). Instructors teach a variety of skills, including warehouse and freight terminal management, expeditionary fuel distribution, expeditionary ordnance handling, tent camp, maintenance and personnel support functions, distribution to traditional shipboard cargo handling and expeditionary airhead operations.

The following positions are required for this effort:

· Expeditionary Fuels Instructor, 

· Expeditionary Reload Academy Instructor, 

· Air Cargo Instructor, 

· Shipboard Cargo Instructor,

· Expeditionary Support/Tent Camp Instructor, 

· Command and Control Logistics Planning Instructor. 

· Explosives driver/ material handling

Qualification, Knowledge and Skills Required:

· *** MUST have a SECRET Security Clearance ***

· High personal standards of technical knowledge and professional competence in delivering training material.

· Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last seven (7) years teaching or performing the skills you will teach.

· Familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U. S. Navy, military rank/grade structure.

· Knowledge of Navy and military terminology, and shipboard/installation environments and configurations.

· Prior experience and qualification NEC of 9502, 805A or DoD equivalent as an instructor is required. 

· Knowledge of computer technology applications as they apply to instructional delivery.

· Have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (A-012-0077) (or military service equivalent), OR Academic credentialing (teacher/professor), or Instructor training via an academic institution.

· Instructors are expected to maintain the personal standards of technical and professional levels of competence that are at least equal to that of the Department of the Navy military personnel undergoing training. 

· The ability to instill morale and motivation of student and instructional personnel shall be maintained at a maximum level to ensure a favorable environment for learning.

Preferred:

· Minimum of three (3) years of High-Risk Training experience with direct support of Department of Defense training programs is preferred.

Physical Demands:

· Moderate physical activity required.

· Requires handling of items up to 50 pounds

· Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight hours per day and be able to change positions including sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting.

· May require use of ladder wells aboard ship or ship “mockup.”
