Job Description: As a Housekeeper at Terrace Grove Assisted Living, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all common areas, resident rooms, and facilities are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times. Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
• Change bed linens and towels regularly and ensure they are laundered properly.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Assist with occasional special cleaning projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
