Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced general maintenance handyman to perform a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and basic repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing doors and windows, and patching walls.
• Perform basic electrical work, such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing issues, such as clogged drains and toilets.
• Perform minor carpentry work, including repairing or replacing doors, installing shelves, and building small structures.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
• Assist with the maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Maintain and repair landscaping and outdoor areas.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in general maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and in all types of weather conditions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 55 per week
