**Inventory Planning & Control Specialist (Contract)**
Redwood City, CA / Technology Development Manufacturing & Supply Chain / Contract The planner supports the planning and inventory management activities Pilot Process Manufacturing and lab activities within CMC at Adverum headquarters. This work will also require working with various teams within CMC, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement and Facilities. This individual will perform all duties to ensure the monthly supply planning process are completed to support integrated planning processes. This position will be responsible for creation, execution, and maintenance of supply plan in coordination with stakeholders with medium term capacity outlooks. In addition, this individual will be in-charge of implementing Centralized Inventory Management System. This individual will also develop/maintain inventory targets using the centralized inventory management system by category and manage new and phased-out materials. Work closely with Sr. Director of Supply Chain to develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate risks with respect to supply planning. Drive Planning and Inventory Management improvements for cost and efficiency
Gain project team consensus on Centralized Inventory Management, track/monitor scope, project plan timelines against phase review objectives, variances, and contingencies. Escalate as necessary to management
Review and understand all order processing from pilot production, lab operations in compliance with Quality and Inventory Control Requirements.
Support UAT testing of the Centralized Inventory Management System.
Provide tactical training to team members, which may include creation and/or updating Work Instructions (WI)
Creation and updating supply plans and identification of supply decisions.
Ensure input from all relevant stakeholders are incorporated into the supply plan
Implement control in managing raw materials, consumables to prevent losses and/or scrap.
Prepare and provide supply planning for budget review/annual budget cycle
Ensure that the supply plan is inputted and maintained in relevant supply systems.
Minimum of 4 years experience in manufacturing environment
Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the Biotech/Pharma industry highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPIs) and identify issues through root cause analysis.
Highly proficient in Microsoft systems particularly excel and PowerPoint.
Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise maner
Must be highly organized, analytical, detail oriented and able to conduct work independently.
Working experience and knowledge of inventory management systems
Team oriented, creative, eager to take on responsibility.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
